The booking is firm upon receipt of the confirmation email sent by GVA TO ALPS. Until that confirmation is sent, GVA TO ALPS may refuse a booking (in particular for unavailability, destination outside service area, incomplete address, or suspected fraud).
The Client is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Any missed pickup resulting from incorrect information (time, flight number, address) gives no right to refund.

Pursuant to Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport contracts: the Client expressly waives any right of withdrawal after booking confirmation. The cancellation terms above apply.
For a transfer from the airport, the driver meets the Client in the international arrivals area (exit A) with a name sign. 60 minutes of free waiting from the actual landing time (automatic flight tracking). Beyond this, a CHF 30 charge per 30-minute block may apply.
For a transfer from a private address, 15 minutes of free waiting from the time given by the Client.
If the driver is demonstrably late due to GVA TO ALPS, reasonable waiting may be extended free of charge; in case of significant delay the Client may be refunded pro rata or in full.
The number of luggage items declared at booking determines the vehicle capacity. Any undeclared luggage may lead to refusal of pickup or a surcharge. Ski / snowboard equipment must be indicated at booking (CHF 10 per item).
GVA TO ALPS undertakes to transport luggage with care but accepts no liability for fragile, valuable or unprotected liquid items, save in case of proven gross negligence. Items forgotten on board are kept for 30 days from the journey; thereafter they may be destroyed or handed to a lost-and-found office.
Pursuant to Swiss law (TCO Art. 3a) and French law, children under 12 and under 150 cm must travel in a suitable restraint device. Child seats are provided free of charge on request and must be reserved in advance. Without an explicit request, GVA TO ALPS does not provide a child seat.
For everyone's safety, the following are prohibited on board: consumption of alcohol or drugs, smoking (including e-cigarettes), violent or insulting behaviour towards the driver or other passengers, and the carriage of undeclared animals or hazardous goods. The driver may interrupt the service in case of breach, without refund.
The Client is liable for any damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their companions (cleaning fees: CHF 200 minimum; material damage at actual cost).
GVA TO ALPS is not liable for delays or non-performance resulting from force majeure or events beyond its control (extreme weather, road closure, demonstration, strike, air traffic disruption, orders from authorities, etc.). In such cases, GVA TO ALPS will endeavour to provide an alternative or refund the unperformed service.
The Client is strongly advised to take out travel insurance covering connections and contingencies. GVA TO ALPS is not liable for missed flights, lost accommodation or other costs consequent to a delay, save in case of proven fault.
GVA TO ALPS reserves the right to subcontract a service to another licensed and insured transport company when circumstances require. Overall contractual responsibility remains with GVA TO ALPS. These T&C remain applicable in such case.
GVA TO ALPS holds professional civil liability insurance covering transported passengers, in accordance with Swiss law. Vehicles are insured under the LCR (Swiss Road Traffic Act).
GVA TO ALPS's liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the relevant service, except in case of bodily injury, wilful misconduct or gross negligence. These T&C do not affect non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
Any complaint must be sent in writing to info@gvatoalps.com within 30 days after the service, together with supporting documents. We will respond within 14 working days.
Failing amicable resolution, an EU-resident consumer Client may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These T&C are governed by Swiss law, excluding the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, subject to the mandatory rules applicable to European consumers (Art. 17 Brussels I bis Regulation), which allow consumers to sue at their place of domicile.
If any provision of these T&C is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. The invalid clause shall be replaced by a valid one pursuing an equivalent economic purpose.
GVA TO ALPS may amend these T&C. The version in force at the time of booking applies to that booking.
